Celebrate 25 Years!

Join the Foundation in celebrating all the successes of the past 25 years. Thanks to broad support from ASSP members, chapters and regions, as well as our corporate donors, the ASSP Foundation continues to grow and advance the future of safety. Our predecessors had the vision to create the Foundation, and it has grown from an idea to an institution providing more than $1.6 million in scholarship, $235,000 in research grants, $220,000 in research fellowships, and $132,000 in professional education grants. We look forward to what we can do together in the next 25 years!

25 Ways to Support the Foundation

There are so many ways to spread the word about investing in the future of safety by supporting the Foundation. Friends of the Foundation show their love for safety by giving, sharing, and promoting. Here are 25 of our favorite ways to support the Foundation:

1. Friend, follow, and connect with us on social media
2. Show off your I Safety T-shirt
3. Skip a cup of coffee each day and donate the savings to the Foundation alongside Region VIII’s Coffee Cup Challenge
4. Donate an item to the Safety Matters Silent Auction
5. Check the box on your dues renewal form and donate with ease
6. Share the Foundation’s research with your colleagues
7. Spread the word about the Family Scholarship Fund
8. Become a Foundation Liaison for your chapter
9. Be a part of the Safety Matters Golf Outing
10. Make a difference year round by becoming a monthly donor
11. Talk to your chapter about following in the footsteps of Philadelphia Chapter, who pledged to donate $25,000 over ten years to Safety Matters and the Philadelphia Chapter Scholarship
12. Host a Fun Run or Walk-a-Thon to raise funds
13. Volunteer to help with one of the Foundation’s events like the auction or golf outing
14. Strengthen your donation with a matching gift from your employer

17. Start or join a crowdfunding campaign

19. Make a donation recognizing a leader in the profession, just as New Jersey Chapter did in recognition of ASSP Past President Kathy Seabrook
20. Host your own silent auction

22. Answer Eric Stager and Erike Young’s challenge, asking each chapter to donate $250 for the 25th Anniversary
23. Establish a scholarship or grant on behalf of a loved one, like the Steve Kane family in 2014
24. Make a Legacy gift and move the profession forward with what you leave behind
25. Consider directing any fees you receive as a speaker to the Foundation or ask the event handler to make a donation on your behalf, like Joel Tiejens and Rick Callor did
